Lars Ulrich has said that in retrospect he thinks it was "stupid" of the band to allow themselves to be filmed for 2004 documentary Some Kind Of Monster.
The drummer told the Sydney Herald Sun that the film, which followed the band during the making of their 2003 album 'St. Anger', was a "mindfuck". They were receiving group therapy at the time.
"Every time I see Noel Gallagher he quotes lines from that movie back to me," he said. "That thing has taken on a life of its own. I had to live that shit for three fucking years! The whole thing was a mindfuck."
He added: "I am aware a lot of other musicians seem to have lived a lot of those moments. They weren't necessarily stupid enough to film them like we were and share them with the rest of the world."

Richard Ashcroft: Nothing Will Be Bigger Than Oasis
Richard Ashcroft has been talking to Xfm about Liam Gallagher’s claims that Beady Eye will be bigger than Oasis. The former Verve frontman was recording ‘An Evening With Richard Ashcroft’, when he told Xfm DJ Richard Walters:
"We all talk a little bit like that because we’re all imbued with the sporting/boxing promoter way of doing interviews. That’s the way we were brought up," he said
"I’m really excited about Liam’s stuff, and Noel’s stuff too. They’re both going to be great".
“Whether timing-wise, or culturally, anything is going to be as big as Oasis? I don’t think so. I don’t think anyone will. Because of the nature of Oasis when they arrived, there was a big vacuum, everyone was scared of rock’n’roll. And Noel did it. Noel showed the way for a lot of people that there’s still some great songs to be written”.

Messi Invites Noel Gallagher to FC Barcelona Game
Soccer star LIONEL MESSI has invited NOEL GALLAGHER to watch him play in Spain to thank the former OASIS rocker for helping him through the recent World Cup. The Argentine star, who plays for Spanish team FC Barcelona, is a big fan of the defunct British band and admitted he listened to the group's hits as part of his preparations to play for his country in the South African tournament. Argentina only made it to the quarter-finals in the recent event, which was won by Spain, but Messi is adamant he wants to thank his hero Gallagher for the part he played in getting his team to the final stages of the soccer showpiece. He tells Britain's The Sun, "Maybe Noel could give the boys a live set after training and they could see how great Oasis are. At the moment they refuse to listen to anything other than Kasabian. "We could also go for an Argentinean steak at this great South American restaurant in Barcelona. And if my plan works, it will mean Oasis being played in the world's greatest football club."

Liam Gallagher Interview Clip with Sky News
The former Oasis singer has launched his own clothing range in London's Carnaby Street. But, as he told Sky's Entertainment Correspondent Steve Hargrave, he's also working on a new album AND a book!

Liam : Iniesta l'enfant lune
